Recently just watched a show named "A Change in Destiny". This show is about predicting the future. From the past, the Chinese always had a book which predicted the future outcomes. This show talks about how the Emperor wants to have this book to prevent disasters and at the same time to continue his regime. Another part of this show is about how two person with the same birth date and time but with different fortune looks at wealth. One  is born to a wealthy family whereas another one is an orphan. Both know about this book and met a fengshui master who is the holder of the book. They uses fengshui to change the outcome of several situations. The wealthy one got framed by other people and causes the whole family to lose everything. At this point in time, he knows something about the book and because of another fengshui master, he is made to believe that he should be the one at the throne. He uses all his might and even resort to marrying the princess when he is already married to another girl. He wants to be rich, he wants power. He even tried to kill his own father but lucky the orphan helped him. At last, he did not become the Emperor and instead, become mad. Even in his madness, he still dreams of becoming the Emperor. 

How true it is. Look at the people around us. Read the newspapers and you will find that when it comes to wealth and power, people will do whatever they can to not to lose it or to get it. What can be learn from this show is actually from the orphan. Despite being poor, he is adamant at upholding his principles such as helping the old. Simplicity is the key towards being happy. When we have the wealth and power, we should use it wisely. It should not make us become proud. If we fail and fall, we should learn from the mistake and work from the scratch. There is no such thing as and overnight windfall unless you are the director and you are shooting the movie. We can change our destiny. But not by plotting other people downfall. We change our destiny by working upwards. Wealth and power can make a person mad. It can cause a person to change. As long as we uphold our principles, remember our roots, we will not change.
